Organized on January 5, 2008 as a part of the National Society Children of the American Revolution we draw our members from Northern San Diego County. Southern Riverside and Orange Counties.
The members chose the name "Red, White & Blue" because of the patriotic qualities that are attached to the colors. These colors originally were not associated with "The Stars and Stripes" as we assume today. Charles Thompson, Secretary of the Continental Congress in 1777, reported to Congress concerning the Seal of the new Nation and stated: White signifies purity and innocence; Red, hardiness & valor; and Blue, vigilance, perseverance and justice".
